2. What data we process
When you subscribe to our weekly Eco newsletter, we process your name, email address and the time of subscription. In addition, we process technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit for statistical purposes.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data on the basis of your consent (newsletter subscription), legitimate interest (security and improvement of the website) and legal obligation (retention periods). Your data is only used for sending the newsletter and for improving our educational content.
4. Retention periods
We retain your subscription data for as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every newsletter. Technical log data is retained for a maximum of twelve months.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share your data only with carefully selected processors within the European Economic Area, such as our email delivery partner and our hosting provider. We have processing agreements with these parties.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can exercise your rights by sending a message to redactie@paylentavio.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption, restricted access rights and periodic security reviews.
